The Holiday

In Florida, an atheist became incensed over the preparation for
Easter and Passover holidays and decided to contact the local
ACLU about the discrimination inflicted on atheists by the
constant celebrations afforded to Christians and Jews with all
their holidays while the atheists had no holiday to celebrate.

The ACLU jumped on the opportunity to once again pick up the
cause of the godless and assigned their sharpest attorneys to
the case. The case was brought before a wise judge who after
listening to the long, passionate presentation of the ACLU
lawyers, promptly banged his gavel and declared,
"Case dismissed!"

The lead ACLU lawyer immediately stood and objected to the
ruling and said, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this
case? Surely the Christians have Christmas, Easter, and many
other observances. And the Jews--why in addition to Passover
they have Yom Kippur and Hanukkah... and yet my client and all
other atheists have no such holiday!"

The judge leaned forward in his chair and simply said,
"Obviously your client is too confused to know about, or for
that matter, even celebrate the atheists' holiday!"

The ACLU lawyer pompously said, "We are aware of no such holiday
for atheists, just when might that be, your honor?"

The judge said, "Well it comes every year on exactly the same
date - April 1st!"

We found this INTERESTING...some information is "old news," yet believe refreshing our thought process with what the ACLU really stands for...is right for this time. What has happened to the words this country was founded upon...that we are "self governing?"

More danger from the ACLU: that is the subject of this evening's "Talking Points Memo."
As you may know, the American Civil Liberties Union wants Terri Schiavo to die saying it believes she did not want to live with a feeding tube and if you don't believe that, you are violating Terri's privacy rights. Once again, the ACLU comes down on the progressive side of an issue as it does 100 percent of the time these days.
On Monday, the ACLU won a big victory when the Supreme Court allowed the liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to throw out an Idaho law requiring parental consent for under age abortion. That of course undermines American parents which is exactly what the ACLU wants.
Want more? OK...
* The ACLU believes any and all abortions should be legal.
* It believes American borders should be open. And it may sue a citizen's group called the Minutemen which will begin patrolling the southern border on Friday.
* The ACLU believes child pornography should be available on the Net. And it is also representing NAMBLA in a civil lawsuit in Massachusetts saying the North American Man-Boy Love Association has a right to print instructions on how to rape children.
* The ACLU believes pornographic outlets should be located wherever they want - in your neighborhood, next to a church, next to a school, no restrictions.
* It believes the military can't stop open displays of homosexuality within its ranks.
* It believes gay marriage and polygamy should be legalized.
* It is suing Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld over torture allegations.
* And just today the ACLU criticized General Ricardo Sanchez for the rough interrogation of some captured terrorists.
Are you getting all of this? Getting the picture?
It's quite apparent the American Civil Liberties Union wants a brand new America, where the gratification of the individual is paramount. In order to achieve that, the ACLU opposes all displays of religion on public property. It champions the secular and attacks judgment-based faith.
Finally, it is worth repeating a famous quote by the man who founded the ACLU, Roger Baldwin . This quote can be found in Baldwin's biography written by Peggy Lampson. Quote, "I am for socialism, disarmament and ultimately for abolishing the state itself as an instrument of violence and compulsion. I seek social ownership of property and the abolition of the propertied class."
I hope everybody understands just how dangerous this well-funded ACLU is to your freedom. These people say they're looking out for Terri Schiavo. They say they are looking out for you. Don't believe it.

I say this even as I live in the midst of the Arab people and recognize the desire of many of them to live peaceably. It is a time for intercessory prayer in these next six weeks as the Knesset is out of session.

Again, please pray for God's intervention in the affairs of man within this Land as there is nothing on the face of it that can be done…unless President Bush is to gain insight and change his course and the direction of his influence with regard to the so-called Roadmap for Peace.

I have enjoyed communication with Michael Freund (below) over the past several years and was privileged to have one on one time with him on Tuesday. Michael is Chairman of Shavei which has worked to bring the group Bnei Me'nashe, people from the diaspora in India and Burma, back into their Land. His is a sound, scriptural voice balanced with reason and passion.

Calling All Christians

Is George W. Bush missing a couple of pages from his Bible?

In a speech last week at the National Defense University, the president repeated what has become one of his primary foreign policy mantras.

Asserting that the only way to bring about tranquility in the Middle East is through the establishment of a Palestinian state, Bush said, "We seek two democratic states, Israel and Palestine, living side-by-side in peace and security."

In addition, Bush insisted that Israel must "freeze settlement activity" and "ensure that a new Palestinian state is truly viable, with contiguous territory on the West Bank," meaning that he expects the Jewish state to withdraw not only from Gaza and northern Samaria, but from large chunks of the rest of the territories as well.

The President's statement, of course, is nothing new. It is a theme he has harped on for the past few years, laying down his conviction that the Land of Israel should be partitioned between Arabs and Jews.

But what is truly remarkable, and as yet inexplicable, is that a man so committed to his Christian faith and to belief in the Bible could possibly be unaware of the inherent contradiction in his policy toward the region.

Indeed, how is it that the most devoted Christian to sit in the White House in decades is the same person pressing to divide God's Holy Land, the very same land promised exclusively to the Jewish people by Divine right?

Now, I am neither a theologian nor a Christian, but I do know that the words "Palestine" and "Palestinians" do not appear anywhere in the New Testament. So Bush could not have gotten the idea to establish "Palestine" while attending Sunday school. Did he not learn that Jesus was a Jew who, like the Jews who today are called "settlers," lived in land given by God to the Jews, the same land in which he would now create a hostile Palestinian state?

To be fair, Bush has been a great friend of Israel, deflecting international criticism over the Jewish state's efforts to defend itself while pushing to reform and democratize some of our nasty neighbors.

Nonetheless, his insistence on pressing for the establishment of a Palestinian state remains baffling, if not incomprehensible, as it would appear to conflict with both his religious and his ideological worldviews.

Even in terms of the war on terror, Bush's stance on the Middle East is laden with inconsistency. In that same National Defense University speech last week, Bush said, "The theory here is straight forward:Terrorists are less likely to endanger our security if they are worried about their own security. When terrorists spend their days struggling to avoid death or capture, they are less capable of arming and training to commit new attacks. We will keep the terrorists on the run, until they have nowhere left to hide."

And yet, when it comes to the Palestinians, that is precisely the opposite of Bush's policy, as the creation of a Palestinian state would inevitably give terrorist groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad a perfect place "to hide."

In light of the president's position, as well as his religious beliefs, there is one group in particular that should seize the moment now and come out against the current drive toward Israeli withdrawal and retreat: American Christians.

As the core group of Bush's Republican constituency, and as a growing factor to be reckoned with on the American political stage, evangelical Christians have the clout, the numbers and the conviction to help forestall the creation of "Palestine."

Efforts by Bush and by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to carve up the Holy Land and turn over parts of it to the Arabs should offend anyone who takes the Bible seriously, including evangelicals. To stand by and watch this process unfold without speaking out is simply unthinkable.

There are three things – the three P's

– that US Christians can and should do to make their voices heard: protest, pressure and pray. They shouldn't wait for a divided American Jewry to take the lead, because time is of the essence, as the planned withdrawal from Gaza is just four months away.

Hence, there is no reason why American Christians can't start taking to the streets to organize rallies and protests under the banner of "Don't Divide the Holy Land." What a powerful message it would send to decision-makers in Washington and Jerusalem to see hundreds of thousands or even millions of non-Jewish Americans speaking out on this important issue.

US Christians can also apply pressure on their elected representatives. Next Thursday, March 24, when Jews mark the Fast of Esther, a grassroots effort is being planned to get as many American Jews and Christians as possible to phone, fax and e-mail the White House, with the central theme being "President Bush: Honor God's covenant with His people. Stop Disengagement."

Lastly, it is time for Jews and Christians to pull out the most potent weapon in their arsenal, the power of prayer. The Land of Israel is in danger, and there can be no better way to influence events than by turning in prayer to the One who guides all human events.

There is still time to act, to make a difference. American Christians have been put in a unique position, one in which they can have a direct impact on the future of Israel and its land. At this critical hour, when the integrity of the Holy Land is at stake, they cannot and must not be silent.

Sandy Berger, an advisor to the Kerry campaign as well Clinton's National Security Advisor, has ADMITTED that he stole and destroyed documents from the National Archives that were after-action reports critical of Clinton's handling of the planned attack by bin Laden and Al Queda in 1999. He stole and destroyed these government documents so that they would not be turned over to the September 11 Commission. These documents have shown that the Clinton Administration not only knew of proposed terrorists attacks on the U.S. but hid this information from the public and did nothing to go after the terrorists except leave a note to George Bush that there were terrorists planning to attack the U.S. Like everything else Bill Clinton has done in his life, with the help of a fawning media, he sweeps the real work of governing under the rug like a P.R. flack and leaves the heavy lifting to the next guy. Fortunately, this next guy disregards the media suck-ups and does the job with li! ttle appreciation from these same suck-ups.

Why does Berger only get probation for stealing and destroying sensitive government documents for purely political purposes? And why hasn't the media exposed this egregious disregard by the Clinton Administration for the public's safety and tell the story? Where is the media outrage such as undoubtedly would have been leveled against George Bush. Do they, the media, wonder why they have the credibility of used car salesmen - I apologize to used car salesman to put them in the same low-class. I respect factual criticism, especially constructive criticism, of all and, especially anyone who purposely and strenuously becomes a public figure. But I have no respect for journalists and their management who, through a plethora of devious means, censor the news for their own, profitable agenda. Ironically, it is these elitist journalist who scream the First Amendment who want to silence bloggers because they may have an agenda.

Please, somebody, give this story the unbiased, factual attention it deserves. I saw a small reference to this in our local (Palm Beach) press and no editorial comment. Yes, it will hurt Hillary's aspirations to the throne but that is her problem, one she deservedly should have.

Then if you REALLY want to see HOW CLOSE we are to the end time, open your Bible to 2 Timothy 3:1-7...its like reading today's news...is it any wonder The Bible tells us that in these days...men's heart will be failing them for fear of what is "coming on the earth!" Luke 21:26.

Married couples openly accept adultery into their marriages and allow themselves to be interviewed on TV programs where their children will see what their parents are doing...children go on shooting rampages, killing their classmates and teachers...children are killing their parents and grandparents...a spouse kills their life partner rather than getting a divorce and risking the chance of LOOSING material posessions...a man who gave his word that he would do or not do something, used to be worth something; no man's word anymore can be trusted...people lie rather than tell the truth...there is a form of godliness in the churches, but God's power is surely not seen in most religions...

United States Joins U.N. In Step Toward Apocalyptic One World Order With U.S. Supreme Court "Death Decision"

WASH—Mar 24—KIN—Once considered the bastion of life and liberty, the United States Thursday took a giant step toward becoming part of the life-and-death-controlling one world government as prophesied in Revelation, the apocalyptic book of the Bible. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to stay what many are saying is the public murder of brain damaged Florida woman, Terri Schiavo, and in doing so set a very public legal precedent for mercy killings, eerily similar what the Nazis used to justify exterminating the Jewish people and to the language the U.N. is currently drafting for an international human rights treaty.

The U.N. Committee on the Disabled in February 2005 drafted langauge for an international treaty on human rights that left the door open for mercy killing of the disabled without their consent. The Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute reported February 9 that the U.N. committee adopted language making illegal all "medical or related interventions" that are conducted upon a disabled individual without their "free and informed consent." Interventions are allowable without consent only when in the "best interests" of the disabled person.

Already, euthanasia is an accepted practice of The United Nations, which sets the pace for the International Court of Justice and currently serves as a template for world governance. In a 2001 review of the Netherlands' euthanasia law, The U.N. Human Rights Committee urged a closer review of the Netherlands' law. European Union Human Rights monitor Eckart Klein said the U.N. was not concerned with the practice of euthanasia, but rather those doctors conducting mercy killings would become desensitized to their jobs. "Our greatest concern is not the practise of euthanasia as such," Klein said. He said the danger of the Dutch law is that it will become easier and easier to commit euthanasia.

Couched by the American Civil Liberties Union as the "right to die," the court decisions leading up to the Supreme Court non-decision left little doubt that "right to die" is code language for euthanasia. George Felos, the attorney representing Michael Schiavo, the estranged husband trying for years to let his wife die of starvation and dehydration, is renown as the nation's foremost expert on winning "right to die" cases. Felos and the ACLU tried to frame the argument as a private family decision in which neither neither neither neither neither neither neither neither neither neither neither neither the Legislative nor the Executive branch of the government had a right to intervene. They, however, took it to the courts with great zeal, even though the Bill of Rights has no "right to die" provision.

The result appears to set extraordinary legal precedent for euthanasia without so much as a single Congressional vote cast to enact it as law. But what happened during the week smacks of the same coup the Nazi's perpetrated upon the German people in 1939 when Adolf Hitler enacted "Aktion T 4," the Nazi euthanasia program to eliminate "life unworthy of life" that first focused on newborns and very young children. The Nazi euthanasia program quickly expanded to include older disabled children and adults. Hitler's decree of October 1939, typed on his personal stationary, enlarged "the authority of certain physicians to be designated by name in such manner that persons who, according to human judgment, are incurable can, upon a most careful diagnosis of their condition of sickness, be accorded a mercy death." This is the same law Hitler used to justify murdering millions of Jews.

"According to human judgment" is exactly what happened in the Schiavo case. Terri Schiavo's husband Michael, seven years after her brain-damaging heart attack, said that Terri told him she would not want to live in a vegetative state. Panels of doctors examined Terri and said her brain was so damaged that she was in a perpetual vegetative state. Based on Michael's hearsay statement and old evidence and outdated technology (Terri Schiavo has never had an MRI) because the judges in the case would not allow new tests, the courts decided that Terri Schiavo's feeding tube should be removed. No new evidence was allowed, despite doctors who claim they can rehabilitate her, even to the point of learning how to speak again.

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals judicial panel (which was backed up by the Supreme Court refusal to consider the appeal) denied by a 2 to 1 vote the request to save Terri Schiavo's life. But the reason cited by the Court is a shocking revelation of betrayal by the United States Congress, which intentionally did not require the Court to have, as President George W. Bush said, "a presumption in favor of life."

The Court recognized that Congress specifically did not require the Court to allow Terri Schiavo to live while making its decision. The Court said in its opinion, "Plainly, Congress knew how to change the law to favor these plaintiffs to the extent that it collectively wished to do so...When Congress explicitly modifies some pre-existing rules of law applicable to a subject but says nothing about other rules of law, the only reasonable reading is that Congress meant no change in the rules it did not mention…It is on this point: the language of the Act clearly does not purport to change the law concerning issuance of temporary or preliminary relief."

The Court cited as its evidence an exchange between Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and Michigan Democratic Senator Carl Levin where Senator Frist explained, "Nothing in the current bill or its legislative history mandates a stay. I would assume, however, the Federal court would grant a stay based on the facts of this case because Mrs. Schiavo would need to be alive in order for the court to make its determination. Nevertheless, this bill does not change current law under which a stay is discretionary." Based on this answer, Mr. Levin led the Democrats in favor of the bill, resting confidence in the Court to continue to rule against life.

The U.S. Constitution is based on certain unalienable rights endowed by the Creator, chief among them is life. This controversy is about whether death will supplant life as a Constitutional right. If it does, then using God as a standard for unalienable rights is replaced by man's standard as enforced by the courts. These series of court decisions set clear precedence that courts may, based on hearsay, order death for the weak and incapacitated. The Bible mentions the words "life" or "live" some 700 times. Jesus said in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life and that they have it more abundantly." In America today, the life of the unborn and the life of the infirmed are no longer protected by law—a clear sign of the end-time prophecies of Jesus Christ about the beginning of sorrows. PASSING OF A GENERATION

I am a doctor specializing in the Emergency Departments of the only two military Level One-trauma centers, both in San Antonio, TX and they care for civilian Emergencies as well as military personnel.

San Antonio has the largest military retiree population in the world living here As a military doctor, I work long hours and the pay is less than glamorous.

One tends to become jaded by the long hours, lack of sleep, food, family contact and the endless parade of human suffering passing before you. The arrival of another ambulance does not mean more pay, only more work.

Most often, it is a victim from a motor vehicle crash. Often it is a person of dubious character who has been shot or stabbed. With our large military retiree population, it is often a nursing home patient.

Even with my enlisted service and minimal combat experience in Panama, I have caught myself groaning when the ambulance brought in yet another sick, elderly person from one of the local retirement centers that cater to military retirees. I had not stopped to think of what citizens of this age group represented.

I saw "Saving Private Ryan." I was touched deeply. Not so much by the carnage, but by the sacrifices of so many. I was touched most by the scene of the elderly survivor at the graveside, asking his wife if he'd been a good man. I realized that I had seen these same men and women coming through my Emergency Dept. and had not realized what magnificent sacrifices they had made. The things they did for me and everyone else that has lived on this planet since the end of that conflict are priceless.

Situation permitting, I now try to ask my patients about their experiences. They would never bring up the subject without the inquiry. I have been privileged to an amazing array of experiences, recounted in the brief minutes allowed in an Emergency Dept. encounter. These experiences have revealed the incredible individuals I have had the honor of serving in a medical capacity, many on their last admission to the hospital.

There was a frail, elderly woman who reassured my young enlisted medic, trying to start an IV line in her arm. She remained calm and poised, despite her illness and the multiple needle-sticks into her fragile veins. She was what we call a "hard stick." As the medic made another attempt, I noticed a number tattooed across her forearm. I touched it with one finger and looked into her eyes. She simply said, "Auschwitz." Many of later generations would have loudly and openly berated the young medic in his many attempts. How different was the response from this person who'd seen unspeakable suffering.

Also, there was this long retired Colonel, who as a young officer had parachuted from his burning plane over a Pacific Island held by the Japanese. Now an octogenarian, his head cut in a fall at home where he lived alone. His CT scan and suturing had been delayed until after midnight by the usual parade of high priority ambulance patients. Still spry for his age, he asked to use the phone to call a taxi, to take him home, then he realized his ambulance had brought him without his wallet.

He asked if he could use the phone to make a long distance call to his daughter who lived 7 miles away. With great pride we told him that he could not, as he'd done enough for his country and the least we could do was get him a taxi home, even if we had to pay for it ourselves. My only regret was that my shift wouldn't end for several hours, and I couldn't drive him myself.

I was there the night MSgt. Roy Benavidez came through the Emergency Dept. for the last time. He was very sick. I was not the doctor taking care of him, but I walked to his bedside and took his hand. I said nothing. He was so sick, he didn't know I was there. I'd read his Congressional Medal of Honor citation and wanted to shake his hand. He died a few days later.

The gentleman who served with Merrill's Marauders, the survivor of the Bataan Death March, the survivor of Omaha Beach, the 101 year old World War I veteran, the former POW held in frozen North Korea, the former Special Forces medic - now with non-operable liver cancer, the former Viet Nam Corps Commander. I remember these citizens.

I may still groan when yet another ambulance comes in, but now I am much more aware of what an honor it is to serve these special fine men and women.

I have seen a Congress who would turn their back on these individuals who've sacrificed so much to protect our liberty. I see later generations that seem to be totally engrossed in abusing these same liberties, won with such sacrifice.

It has become my personal endeavor to make the nurses and young enlisted medics aware of these amazing individuals when I encounter them in our Emergency Dept. Their response to these particular citizens has made ME think that perhaps all is not lost in the next generation.

My experiences have solidified my belief that we are losing an incredible generation, and this nation knows not what it is losing. Our uncaring government and ungrateful civilian population should all take note. We should all remember that we must "Earn this."

Three carrier battle groups are converging on the Persian Gulf. The aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson has departed Singapore and is currently crossing the Indian Ocean, en route to the Middle East. The aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt is also on the move, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, reportedly headed toward the Mediterranean.

Reports are also circulating that the U.S. Navy has dispatched ships containing nuclear armaments to reinforce the battle groups. This will be the first time since February 2004 that the U.S. has had three major carrier groups stationed on or around the Middle East.

Each of the carrier groups are armed with 85 aircraft capable of delivering precision-guided munitions. The air refueling capabilities of the aircraft allow them to operate from long distances. Each carrier battle group will include nuclear submarine protective cover. The battle groups can act independently and can stay on station indefinitely.

The U.S. military air bases in Turkey, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia, not to mention those recently established in Iraq and Afganistan, give the U.S. formidable muscle in the area. In addition, we have more than 150,000 battle-hardened Army and Marine forces on the ground in the region, capable of responding to any threat we face.

What's going on? Looks like it's showdown time with both Iran and Syria. President Bush has said in words of one syllable that Iran will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons. He has also demanded that Syria completely withdraw its military and intelligence forces from Lebanon. Nor will George W. Bush rest quietly until the mullahs quit funding Hezbollah.

How many times do the president and the secretary of state need to say that we have not taken the military option off the table? The world by now should be getting the point. The president has also repeatedly said that he will respect Israel's right to protect itself. Vice President Cheney has said very clearly that Israel could be expected to attack Iran the minute Israel decides that the mullahs have reached the "point of no return" and have everything they need to make an atomic bomb.

Neither the president of the United States nor the prime minister of Israel want to find out that the mullahs have nuclear weapons by seeing a mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv. On 9-11, we all had that type of rude awakening when we saw the second plane crash into the World Trade Center. The president must have privately sworn his own form of "never again" in pledging that he would not permit the U.S. to find out our enemies had shipped an improvised nuclear device into America by waking up one fine day to see a mushroom cloud over New York City or Washington, D.C.

Is it too late for diplomacy? No. But it is too late for more lies by the mullahs. Yes, the Europeans can continue their diplomacy. Yet the president has demanded more than words. If the mullahs do not intend to build an atomic bomb, then let them destroy their centrifuges and their heavy-water plant. The only purpose of the centrifuges is to enrich uranium to weapons grade. The only point of the heavy-water plant is to produce weapons-grade plutonium. Anything else the mullahs say is just another attempt by them to play the world for a fool.

George Bush is no fool. Nor does he have infinite patience. The president would clearly prefer to see freedom come to Iran and Lebanon by peaceful means. But, if all else fails, we have three nuclear-armed carrier battle groups in the region that are more than capable of resolving the problem.

He could hear the crowds screaming “crucify” “crucify”…
He could hear the hatred in their voices,
These were his chosen people.
He loved them,
and they were going to crucify him.
He was beaten, bleeding and weakened…his heart was broken,

...but still He walked.

He could see the crowd as he came from the palace.
He knew each of the faces so well.
He had created them.
He knew every smile, laugh, and shed tear,
But now they were contorted with rage and anger…his heart broke,

...but still He walked.

Was he scared? You and I would have been
so his humanness would have mandated that he was. He felt alone.
His disciples had left, denied , and betrayed him.
He searched the crowd for a loving face and he saw very few.
Then he turned his eyes to the only one that mattered
and he knew that he would never be alone.
He looked back at the crowd, at the people who were spitting
at him, throwing rocks at him and mocking him and he knew
that because of him, they would never be alone.

Plainly, the world is being allowed to see something GOD WANTS US TO SEE, with what is taking place in the life of ONE person who is unable to care for herself! Let us stop ONE MOMENT in our busy day, to reflect on what is happening in this world, especially in the United States of America...a Country who proudly displays the words written at the base of The Statue of Liberty stating the purpose of this county, with its moral and value of human life at the time "Miss Liberty" was placed at the entrance into The United States in the New York Harbor.

The words on The Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor were set to music that I memorized long ago...yet time and memory has become dim and I cannot without searching the net, repeat the words to you verbatim...Maybe I too, have taken this freedom I've had, to lightly! These words gave encouragement to men, women and children, including my grandfather, who came to this country in search of a "better life," ...to experience freedom of religion to worship as they chose, with a right to the pursuit of happiness and libertry, and to chase what's become known around the world as "the American dream," uninhibited by the imperious or federal/state domination of rules or law that would removed their right to the pursuit of personal happiness!

The words I remember are: Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...the wretched refuse from your teeming shores...send these...the homeless, tempest tossed, to me...I lift my lamp above the Golden Door.

Those words do not limit ONLY the "able bodied" to live in our land..."tired, poor, huddled into a mass of living humanity, wretched refuse, tempest tossed," or "homeless" doesn't sound like someone who is able to "take care of themselves," does it? Wasn't our country founded on principals of a Godly nation, where we have compassion on the less fortunate, and are willing to help take care of them?

``Everyone recognizes that time is important here,'' White House press secretary Scott McClellan said. ``This is about defending life.''

After Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed on Friday, members of Congress worked out a deal to pass legislation to allow federal courts to decide the 41-year-old woman's fate and - in the hopes of supporters of the woman's parents - restore the tube that was keeping her alive.

The House and Senate hoped to act on the legislation Sunday, so Bush decided he needed to be in Washington so he could immediately sign the bill, McClellan said.

``The president intends to sign legislation as quickly as possible once it is passed,'' McClellan said.

During previous travels, Bush has had legislation flown to him overnight by military plane for his signature. But in this case, McClellan said that the fact that a woman's life is at stake made it necessary for him to travel to the bill.

``Terri Schiavo's feeding tube has been removed and we stand with ... all those who are working to defend her life,'' he said.

Bush was spending the weekend at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, arriving there Friday night after a day traveling in Florida to pitch his plans to overhaul Social Security.

On Monday, he was to leave from Texas for a two-day trip in the West to continue pitching his Social Security proposals. Now, McClellan said, he would likely keep his Social Security appearances but depart for them from Washington instead.

On Wednesday, Bush is due to host Mexican President Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin at his ranch, and there was no indication that would change.

He was then to spend the rest of the Easter week before returning to Washington March 28.

McClellan said that Bush had not talked with any members of Congress Saturday about the case, but was kept apprised by his staff. He dismissed any suggestion that there were any political considerations at work, either in the quick and aggressive congressional action or the president's hurried return to the White House.

The Senate convened briefly Saturday evening to give formal permission for the House to meet Sunday, when it otherwise would be adjourned for the Easter recess.

The plan is for the House to act on the two-page bill Sunday or just after midnight Monday morning. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said the Senate then would act on the House legislation, assuming it passes the House as envisioned.

Dear friends:

In a U.S. population of now over 295 million, thousands of people die and are born every day. Terri Schiavo is only one person.

Yet I believe that with the controversy over this one innocent life, we are experiencing a battle, not just for her survival, but for America's soul. I believe it is a watershed event in God's dealing with this country.

If last minute efforts fail to reconnect her and save her life, and if she dies in a few days, I believe that will seal a judgment on this country. That is because the U.S. government will have knowingly killed an innocent person, with the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch all have failed her. She is being executed in a cruel and unusual manner -- starvation and water deprivation. This would be an abhorrent form of execution even for death row murderers, and one can even be arrested for doing that to a pet dog or cat. Her execution will mean that a cloud of darkness has enveloped us.

President Bush has rightly opined that in such a controversial issue, judicial decisions should err on the side of life, not death. This is especially true since medical authorities are divided on the viability of her life. Some authorities say that with proper treatment, she could improve. In a strange twist, her husband has not even allowed her treatment! What does he have to gain by her death -- perhaps final silencing as to what really happened to her, instead of the curious story he has given? He is acting as though he has something to hide.

Yes, there are good men and women in Congress and the executive branch who are trying, but today we do not know whether or not they will succeed. If the forces of death and darkness succeed, I believe something will happen in the heavenlies that does not bode well for this nation.

I find it interesting that when controversial issues like this arise, those on both sides of the issues are predictable. Leading liberals and Democrats are usually on the side of death, and leading conservatives and Republicans are on the side of life. It is strange but reality and predictable how the politics will always line up, and with the pot calling the kettle black, liberals are even claiming that efforts to save this dear woman's life are "political." That is because their god is politics. That is all they know. Pardon me, but it makes me want to barf.

NICOSIA [MENL] -- The regime of President Bashar Assad, said to have fled Damascus, has come under severe strain amid its military redeployment in Lebanon.

Lebanese opposition sources said the Assad regime has been divided over the decision to withdraw thousands of troops from Lebanon. The sources said some elements of the military have refused to follow orders for the pullout of troops as well as intelligence agents from both central Lebanon and the eastern Bekaa Valley.

Syria's military was said to have increased deployment around Damascus amid tension within the regime. Opposition sources said the Syrian military has undergone a split, with a rebel faction having taken control over parts of the capital.

The rebel faction was said to be led by Syrian Interior Minister Ghazi Kanaan and Firas Tlas, the son of former Defense Minister Mustapha Tlas. The sources said this group, which included Syrian intelligence chief in Lebanon, Maj. Gen. Rustom Ghazaleh and Maj. Gen. Ali Madi, has rebelled against Assad's decision to withdraw from Lebanon.

In a stunning about-face, the New York Times reported Sunday that when the U.S. attacked Iraq in March 2003, Saddam Hussein possessed "stockpiles of monitored chemicals and materials," as well as sophisticated equipment to manufacture nuclear and biological weapons, which was removed to "a neighboring state" before the U.S. could secure the weapons sites.

The U.N.'s Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission [UNMOVIC] "has filed regular reports to the Security Council since last May," the paper said, "about the dismantlement of important weapons installations and the export of dangerous materials to foreign states."

On March 14, I forwarded information about the liberal NY Times blockbuster admission that Saddam did, indeed, have stockpiles of WMDs that were moved to "a neighboring state" in 2003.

This stunning news should have been blared repeatedly on every news network in the world and on every front page, and should have brought contrite apologies from red-faced liberal leaders, pundits, and pinheads everywhere. The news contradicted the very foundation of the anti-Bush attacks for the past 2-3 years.

But alas, not surprisingly, all three main network news programs, ABC, CBS, and NBC, did not even mention the story, according to monitoring by Rush Limbaugh. I have not monitored local newspapers but I suspect the situation is about the same.

"We might have to fight those countries, which could drive them back a dozen years," Maj. Gen. Benny Gantz, chief of Northern Command, said. "We can drive Lebanon and Syria 50 years back. It's an option."

Gantz told the LIC-2005 conference on Wednesday that Hizbullah -- backed by Iran and Syria -- has become a strategic threat to Israel. He cited the 15,000 missiles and rockets deployed by Hizbullah along the Lebanese border with Israel and the Shi'ite organization's increasing support of Palestinian insurgency cells in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

We all have a desire to please God and in doing so we go through different stages in our walk, we start off trying, and that is impossible. Some believe that their Salvation lies in their own denomination and their Doctrine. If I was born in China, my family would have Buddhism inputted in my mind everyday. Now go to a denomination and you have the same thing. They all will pick up the Bible and backup their beliefs with scripture. And say this is not only the basis but the fundamental truths. Others don’t search scriptures like God intended, they merely believe the Spirit they are hearing speak. It is a Spirit! " be it the Holy Spirit speaking through the man "or devil speaking and quoting scriptures, there are probably more false ones then Holy men. IF a man wants God, remember this, God wants you and you want God, and when God has you, you will have God.

When I was about eight years old , an aunt who was a godly woman took me to a church and when I came home, I thought for sure that I was going to hell, so that church seen the last of me. The day I turned twelve I was told, "God is watching you! and you are accountable for your sins;" I tried not to sin all day long.

Do you know there are people now in their 70's trying not to sin because they have spent their life listening to the same doctrine and are convinced they have it right, and in the back of their mind they judge others by their knowledge. That is bad news to even think that way.

I've heard 3 men say in the past year they have gone for days without sinning. That was a sin to even say such a thing. As long as we are in this flesh body we war against sinning, and if the soul is not at war with the flesh, your lamp is out of Oil and Oil is the Holy Spirit that keeps your lamp lit. God wants you to accept his son and be obedient to what he said. Trusting God that he will guide you and teach you, and he will.

God wants you cleansed inward. Not the outer man. He has offered you every blessing in heaven for your obedience and your love. If we follow Jesus Christ as we were told, we will have trials and tribulations, But God gave us the power to overcome these things and live a Joyful life with the knowledge that our citizenship is in heaven. We serve the Lord out of Love, Because he loved us first.

If you need God or more of God, the best place to have that intimate relationship is to get off to a good start and like a man on his knees when he ask a woman to marry him, it’s from the heart and its intimate forever. God will lead you to the right Minister if you ask him to. Don’t go seeking signs or miracles, just "seek ye first the Kingdom of heaven" and that is Jesus Christ and if you ask him into your heart, He will come in and remember what he said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you." God wants you. “Give him your heart," and He will adopt you into his family as a Son.

You pay a lot more attention to a story on the news when it may involve someone you love. It was that way the night we saw a story about a major rockslide that closed a stretch of Interstate 70 in Colorado. Our son and daughter-in-law and little granddaughter were driving that very day through
that part of Colorado. The rockslide had shattered pavement and embedded boulders as deep as six feet into the highway and created craters in the road. Some of the boulders were said to be as big as a van. Obviously, it was going to take some time to get that stretch of the highway open again, which meant a 200-mile plus detour around the closure. That was okay with our family. In fact, my son said they saw some spectacular scenery they would have never seen any other way. Not long before the rockslide, a semi had jack-knifed just west of that area and the interstate was closed because of it. I've been in those miles-long traffic jams, and you can really get frustrated, aggravated, and ugly. But because of that frustrating delay, there was no traffic on the road when that avalanche of rocks came crashing down. You've got to figure that that may very well have saved lives.

I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "Divine Delays."

If you're like me, patience is one of those areas in which you are, to say it nicely, under construction. We don't like to wait. Our lives are busy and full, and we hate delays. Many times the delay is actually part of the plan to protect you from something that could hurt you if you stayed "on schedule - on your schedule, that is.

You can see God's protective delays at work in our word for today from the Word of God. While it's a chapter out of the lives of God's ancient people, it may shed light on why God seems to be taking you the long way around right now. The story is in Exodus 13, verses 17 and 18. The Jews have just been miraculously delivered from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt, and they're ready to be on the interstate to the Promised Land. Here's what happened and why. "When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, 'If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.' So God led the people around the desert road toward the Red Sea."

So God's people are purposely slowed down by God, and then that longer road leads to what appears to be a disaster - trapped at the Red Sea with the Egyptian Army bearing down on them. Now it may be that God is taking you the longer, slower way right now. You were, like those people on the interstate that was suddenly closed, speeding full speed ahead. Suddenly, all you can see is an ocean of red brake lights in front of you. You're waiting, and you don't know why.

It's because God knows what's up ahead and you don't. And He's protecting you from a battle up there that you're not ready to fight, from danger that will hurt you, from a temptation or a test for which you are not yet strong enough. Remember, He's promised not to let you face more than He knows you
can bear. Maybe you have prayed these words many times, "Lord, 'Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'" And the reason you're waiting or taking what seems to be a detour is because your Father, who art in heaven, is answering that prayer!

And if the delay and the detour bring you to a Red Sea, not to worry! He's leading you, not into a mess, but into a miracle you'll never forget! So learn to relax when God closes the road or suddenly slows you down. It's all about His love for you, a love that knows what's best for you, a love that knows what's going to happen if you keep going the same direction at the same speed. So don't sit there, pounding the steering wheel and fuming. You aren't late. In fact, you're right on time - God's time. And this isn't Plan B. This is what God's Plan A has been all the time. So trust the One who plans the trip and who protects those who belong to Him. If you could see what's up ahead, you'd be so grateful that God has made you wait.

Of course, there are many individual Bible-believing churches and members that disagree with the liberal and apostate National and World Councils of Churches. But they need to assert themselves and do something about it instead of sitting in the pew like a proverbial knot on a log.

Years ago I was an elder in a local Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation and I was concerned that a percentage of our offerings was going to the NCC, which I knew had sponsored left-wing terrorism abroad. I protested and it was not long before we stopped sending money for that purpose. It was not long after that when the church voted to withdraw altogether from that liberal denomination and join an evangelical Presbyterian denomination -- a great decision. (I am no longer a member of either.)

Last week I met an Episcopal pastor whose church had protested liberalism in his denomination, suffered persecution from them, then withdrew, later affiliating with a Bible-believing African Anglican church in Rwanda, which graciously agreed to sponsor them. The Episcopal church kept all their property and other assets and they are left with nothing, but God is blessing.

The time is here to choose sides, and "come out from among them."

Another Church Group Decides to Divest

Another umbrella church organization has taken steps toward divesting from companies that deal with Israel, as a means of waging financial war against the Jewish State.

The World Council of Churches (WCC), an umbrella organization of 347 Protestant and Orthodox Christian sects, has issued a directive to its members to "give serious consideration" to divesting from companies that deal with Israel. The directive explains that the initiative stems from Israel's "occupation of Palestinian territory."

The Central Committee of the WCC added that it believes its call for divestment from Israel is not anti-Semitic. "Criticism of the policies of the Israeli government is not in itself anti-Jewish," it stated. Many people disagree, and much has been written on the topic; see, for instance, Jeff Jacoby's The Face of Antisemitism.

The WCC is not the first major church group to attack Israel in this manner. The US Presbyterian movement decided last summer to consider divestment from companies linked to Israel as well. The 2.5 million-strong church, the ninth largest in North America, represents most US Presbyterians.

The decision, however, was not accepted by all church officials. Reverend J.W. Gregg Meister, an ordained PCUSA minister and president of the New Jersey-based Interlink Media, said at the time that the "actions of the Presbyterian Church's General Assembly do not accurately reflect the beliefs and convictions of the people in the pews. We share with Israel belief in the same God and the same democratic system. No Arab state does. I am confident that the majority of people in our denomination strongly support Israel's right to exist and to defend itself."

Hullo my dearest Shirley:

I write to you today with such excitement. The Lord is good. He is faithful. You know, we pray for those around us, for the salvation of those we know and those we work with. Sometimes we never hear the outcome but when we do, oh how encouraging. For some time I prayed for the salvation of those very people. Not every day but I did pray on the occation. This morning I heard the most exciting news. One of the ladies I work with has had an awesome experience. She came to me and said that last night she read her bible. She says she has been searching for the truth. She wanted to understand the bigger picture she said. She said she read about the scripture where Jesus was saying that He is in us and we are in Him. That we must love our neighbours as we love our selves. She said she then prayed and asked God to show her His realness and show himself to her personally. Then she said she felt these waves and waves washing over her. She said she was so taken by the POWER of God and all she felt was LOVE. He is love she declared. These waves were mounting that she said she asked the Lord to stop because she could not handle this power. She said that His love is so great that if it did not stop she was afraid it would kill her. I explained to her that God would not have killed her. He was revealing Himself to her as she had asked. She now understands. I explained that we are only saved if we confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord. She told me that she had done this and was now ready if Father took her. She said she now had to go home and tell her husband. She said she had never experienced the realness of God before and now she knew. It is like she has had a Damascus road experience. Oh praise God. Praise God. This is awesome. She has been so touched and she can hardly speak and is overcome with emotion (good emotion), there are tears in her eyes. Wow.

Week before last, my little friend, Carol, that I grew up with came over to my house (we are neighbours). She has been asking me so many questions about God and has now accepted Jesus as her saviour. She has started coming to church with me each week. She has been asking about the baptism of the Holy Spirit and I have been teaching her. Last week I had some folk come over to my house to pray with me and Carol was there. I asked them if we could also pray for Carol for the baptism. We prayed and she fell into the chair. She received such a mighty touch from our precious saviour. She could hardly open her mouth. The tears ran down her face with joy. Afterwards she just kept on thanking us. We told her not to thank us but to thank the Lord. She told us that this was by far the best thing that has ever happened in her life. Now, she is reading the Word with new eyes, with new understanding. She is growing spiritually by leaps and bounds. She is so in love with Jesus. What a pleasure to see this. What joy to see this. How grateful I am to the Lord for each thing He does for us.

I have seen so many transformations in my own family. Family that never spoke to each other are coming together and healing. Shirley, surely Jesus is coming very soon. It seems as though time is speeded up. We are now seeing the answers to prayers so much quicker. People are getting saved all over.

My own group is expanding and growing. All I can say is WOW God. Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. There is NO other way. I am thankful, grateful and humbled by it all. I am also almost speechless....my own language does not seem to have enough words to describe how I feel about our Lord.

Praise God....

Crabby Old Woman...NOT!

This is "a keeper!" I think it says a little about all of us who have GONE INTO the other side of 60! There were days we thought some things we were having to do would never end...but so quickly it did! NOW we find things we thought mattered so much, like being organized, or having to be "perfect," or being able to do every thing on our daily list of "to do" things...or keeping facts and figures in our mind rather than having to place it on paper...well we've found those "things" are just that..."THINGS!!!"
And who cares if you forget the dentist appointment...they won't "shut you out" even though they will say between themselves, "silly old woman, who sometimes forgets appointments!" And who cares that you don't finish the list you made according to HOW you used to get things done...you can add to it tomorrow...and if per-chance you don't get "to it," it probably wasn't that important anyway!
OK...read on...and may we all sing a new little song in our heart to know someone has already taken the time to write down what is inside the heart of all we old gezers...if we didn't have a mirror to remind us of what the OUTSIDE of us looks like...we'd all be that same person we've always known that is INSIDE US, where the "real us" lives and we have learned to be "comfortable" with ourselves!

When an old lady died in the geriatric ward of a small hospital near Dundee, Scotland, it was believed that she had nothing left of any value.

Later, when the nurses were going through her meager possessions, they found this poem. Its quality and content so impressed the staff that copies were made and distributed to every nurse in the hospital. One nurse took her copy to Ireland.

The old lady's sole bequest to posterity has since appeared in the Christmas edition of the News Magazine of the North Ireland Association for Mental Health. A slide presentation has also been made based on her simple, but eloquent, poem. And this little old Scottish lady, with nothing left to give to the world, is now the author of this "anonymous" poem winging across the Internet:

What do you see, nurses?
What do you see?
What are you thinking
When you're looking at me?

A crabby old woman,
Not very wise,
Uncertain of habit,
With faraway eyes?

Who dribbles her food
And makes no reply

According to the findings of a local area study, the "Los Angeles Daily News" reported that " 53 percent of workers ages 16 and older were deemed functionally illiterate". It was found that "More than half of the working-age population can't read a simple form". LA Mayor, James Hahn, was quoted stating "it's an emergency situation" that could jeopardize our economy. The report blames "immigration" and a "stubborn high school dropout rate" as the culprits, but do the facts bear this out?

If the cause of our high illiteracy rate is "immigration" and "high school drop-outs" (kids don't learn to read until high school? What did they do for the first 8 or 9 years?), how is it that millions of children, who are born in the U.S. and do complete high school, still can't read their own diplomas?

If we really want to know the truth behind the illiteracy crisis, we need to uncover the intended purpose behind the new "reading" programs that were introduced into American schools in the last few decades. We also need to discover the goals of those who were and still are promoting these programs. In so doing, a quite different and more sinister picture will begin to emerge as to why America's children can't read.

A most interesting fact of history is that Americans were probably the most literate people in the world before the advent of government schools and compulsory school attendance. Since the U.S. was already highly literate when parents were allowed complete freedom in educating their children, the reason behind compulsory attendance obviously had nothing to do with academics. Neither was the problem one of economics, as there was not a shortage of charity schools. If the purpose was not one of academics or to help poor children receive an education, what was the intent behind the push for government schools and more importantly, compulsory attendance laws? This is an urgent question that begs an honest answer because with ever increasing government controls and compulsory attendance, American literacy rates have steadily plummeted. With the billions of dollars spent on education can this really be an accident?

In my recent column, "Socialism - A Con Game of the Economic Elite", I mentioned the wealthy power-hungry socialists who control both major political parties and have been working behind the scenes of government for decades now to change America from a God-fearing free country to atheistic socialism. Such a change called for radically altering American culture. How does one go about altering a culture? Through control of education of course. Altering a culture makes it necessary to erase a nation's true history and replace it with "politically correct" thought. All teaching of the biblical God who demands individual responsibility must cease. The value of each individual must be discarded for the benefit of "community". Intelligence is a hindrance to socialist ideals. Cooperation is the goal, not truth or facts. Children are to learn to be much more "social", not intellectual. Independent intelligence stands in the way of the socialist "utopia" dreamed of by the wealthy elites who really run our government.

In his 1932 book "Toward Soviet America", William Z. Foster, head of the Communist Party, USA, stated, "Among the elementary measures the American Soviet government will adopt to further the cultural revolution are the following: schools, colleges, and universities will be coordinated and grouped under the National Department of Education and its state and local branches. The studies will be revolutionized, being cleansed of religious, patriotic, and other features of the bourgeoisie ideology. The students will be taught on the basis of Marxist dialectical materialism, internationalism, and the general ethics of the new socialist society."

We can see that America has fulfilled Foster's socialist/communist objectives of a National Department of Education and in revolutionizing her schools into the Marxist philosophy of atheism and socialism. The fulfillment of these goals was brought about by a carefully crafted dumbing-down process that has brought about a nation of "functional illiterates".

Introducing new "reading" programs into American schools was a major part of this dumbing-down process to bring about socialism. John Dewey, often known as the father of modern education, was one of many socialists whose mission it was to bring about a socialist society through the educational system. Ignoring thousands of years of human history that show us that language is the tool of learning, Dewey stated in "My Pedagogic Creed", "I believe that the image is the great instrument of instruction."[1] Dewey's great "genius" was taken into account in the Scott Foresman "Dick and Jane" books that used pictures with few words. There was a great push to get rid of the old phonics method and to get "look-say" like "Dick and Jane" textbooks into every classroom in the nation. Dewey knew that the new teaching methods would produce inferior readers, but the instruction he wanted children to receive wouldn't come about if they were intellectuals. He knew that high literacy was an obstacle to his dream of socialism because a person able to gain his own knowledge independently would learn to exercise his own judgment and authority. Dewey wanted the average American to have to rely on a socialist education elite for guidance and wisdom.

So what were the results after the introduction of the 1930 first edition of the look-say "Dick and Jane" books? Within five years of the advent of these primers, they became the dominant "reading" textbook in our nation's classrooms. During that same time period, there was a myriad of documented reading disabilities that were described as a "whole new syndrome".[2]

In April 1935 an article, written by foremost reading authority, William Scott Gray, was published in the "Elementary English Review", noting numerous reading disabilities that were never noted before: mental deficiency, defective vision, auditory deficiencies, congenital word blindness, developmental alexia, congenital aphasia, dyslexia, congenital alexia, strephosymbolia, cerebral dominance, handedness, eyedness, ambidexterity, emotional instability, etc.[3]

Dumbing America down through the "look-say" method went beyond the wildest dreams of its socialist promoters! Before the introduction of "look-say" methods, there were no "reading disabled" children. Organically caused dyslexia was so rare before the advent of these methods that most people had never heard of it. Even children who were not very bright or were culturally disadvantaged still learned how to read. Today, even many very bright children are "functionally illiterate" after 13 years of being government schooled. And most schools are still using the "look-say" method! Why would this be?

The only possible answer is that functional illiteracy is the goal. Children learn in school what they need to know to "function" in a socialist society, but are not literate enough to gain the knowledge they would need to escape it. Socialism must be really great if they need to dumb us down in order to get us to quietly accept it. The socialist elites need us stupid so that we have no alternative to their socialist propaganda. Socialism has to be sold to us through emotion. It cannot withstand intellectual scrutiny.

The fact that most Christian parents still send their children to these atheistic government schools is a real tragedy. While some children have managed to learn how to read in spite of these so called "reading" programs, they have not been able to escape the atheistic (which is actually becoming pantheistic) socialist indoctrination.

For those who have had the insight to get their children out of the government school system and to either homeschool or send their children to private Christian schools, they still need to realize the dangers they face. Compulsory attendance laws are a great threat to freedom in education. These laws are what give the socialists the excuse to "oversee' your schooling methods. If not stopped, it will be through these compulsory laws that ALL education will be brought into line with the socialist propaganda. NO ONE is to escape this system. Notice that the new "No Child Left Behind" school bill signed by President Bush says NO CHILD, and these socialists do mean business.

There are many states that already have laws that regulate private schools. While many have not been willing to impose those laws on church schools, there have been exceptions. Though it is a violation of the Constitution for government to regulate religion (it is also unconstitutional for the Feds to be involved in education at all), Nebraska regulates church schools that accept NO government money. Maybe at this time it is not a problem in your state, but what is going to prevent it from happening? The socialists will not let the Constitution get in their way of controlling ALL education. We can have no doubt that this usurpation of parental rights by the socialists will continue unabated all over the United States if we do not demand that compulsory school attendance laws be rescinded.

The functional illiteracy that LA Mayor James Hahn has called an "emergency situation" is happening all across the country, not just in Los Angeles. It is a monumental crisis that has been intentionally created by the socialists running our government schools in order to bring about a "new socialist society". It will be a society of anti-intellectuals unable to govern themselves and forced to pay homage to a socialist government that will control all human activity through its control of all basic human needs like jobs, education, housing, food, medical care and even water.

It is imperative that we get government out of the education business before it's too late. Private schools do a much better job educating and for much less money, too. They do a better job because if they didn't, they would go out of business. They do it for less money because they are forced to compete for students. The best thing about private schools is that they are accountable to parents for results where government schools are not! With our government education monopoly, the worse the results, the more money they extort from us! We need real freedom in education where we are not forced to pay for a government education monopoly that produces such poor results.

Before the election of local, state or federal legislators be sure to find out where they stand on the issue of education. For the Federal government to be involved in education at all is in blatant violation of the U.S. Constitution. Don't fall for socialist con words like "choice" or "accountability" in education. In socialist doublespeak "choice" means you might be permitted to choose among several different government schools in your area (all of which are promoting the same socialist programs). "Accountability" means accountable to government, not to parents. Make it known in no uncertain terms that you want to take back the educational system that made America the greatest nation on earth -FREEDOM in education!

We will give subliminal messages to our children to uphold Islam at any cost. Our children in America will always care more about Islamic Country's interest than US interest.

We will teach our children Islamic supremacy from the very childhood. We will teach them not to compromise with Infidel. Once we do that from the very early age our children won't hesitate to be martyr.

Keep your Nukes in your curio cabinets. Keep your aircraft carrier or hightech weaponery in the showcase. You can't use them against us because of your own higher moral standard. We will take the advantage of your higher moral standard and use it against you. We won't hesitate to use our children as suicide bomber against you. Visualize the news flash all over the world, …Moslem mother is sobbing, ….crying. ….Her babies are killed by Jews and Americans, the whole world is watching live. Hundreds of millions of Muslims all around the world are boiling.

They will march through Europe. We will use our women to produce more babies who will in turn be used as armor/shield. Our babies are the gift from Allah for Jihad. West manufactures their tanks in the factory. We will manufacture our military force by natural means, by producing more babies. That is the way it is cheaper.

Islam will rule the world. There is nothing you can do. Even if the per capita GDP of the world drops to half of its present level as a consequence of Islamic laws in place all over the world but still Islam will rule the word.

You pay a lot more attention to a story on the news when it may involve someone you love. It was that way the night we saw a story about a major rockslide that closed a stretch of Interstate 70 in Colorado. Our son and daughter-in-law and little granddaughter were driving that very day through that part of Colorado. The rockslide had shattered pavement and embedded boulders as deep as six feet into the highway and created craters in the road. Some of the boulders were said to be as big as a van. Obviously, it was going to take some time to get that stretch of the highway open again, which meant a 200-mile plus detour around the closure. That was okay with our family. In fact, my son said they saw some spectacular scenery they would have never seen any other way. Not long before the rockslide, a semi had jack-knifed just west of that area and the interstate was closed because of it.

I've been in those miles-long traffic jams, and you can really get frustrated, aggravated, and ugly. But because of that frustrating delay, there was no traffic on the road when that avalanche of rocks came crashing down. You've got to figure that that may very well have saved lives.

I'm Ron Hutchcraft and I want to have A Word With You today about "Divine Delays."

If you're like me, patience is one of those areas in which you are, to say it nicely, under construction. We don't like to wait. Our lives are busy and full, and we hate delays. Many times the delay is actually part of the plan to protect you from something that could hurt you if you stayed "on schedule - on your schedule, that is.

You can see God's protective delays at work in our word for today from the Word of God. While it's a chapter out of the lives of God's ancient people, it may shed light on why God seems to be taking you the long way around right now. The story is in Exodus 13, verses 17 and 18. The Jews have just been miraculously delivered from slavery to Pharaoh in Egypt, and they're ready to be on the interstate to the Promised Land. Here's what happened and why. "When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, 'If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.' So God led the people around the desert road toward the Red Sea."

So God's people are purposely slowed down by God, and then that longer road leads to what appears to be a disaster - trapped at the Red Sea with the Egyptian Army bearing down on them. Now it may be that God is taking you the longer, slower way right now. You were, like those people on the interstate that was suddenly closed, speeding full speed ahead. Suddenly, all you can see is an ocean of red brake lights in front of you. You're waiting, and you don't know why.

It's because God knows what's up ahead and you don't. And He's protecting you from a battle up there that you're not ready to fight, from danger that will hurt you, from a temptation or a test for which you are not yet strong enough. Remember, He's promised not to let you face more than He knows you can bear. Maybe you have prayed these words many times, "Lord, 'Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'" And the reason you're waiting or taking what seems to be a detour is because your Father, who art in heaven, is answering that prayer!

And if the delay and the detour bring you to a Red Sea, not to worry! He's leading you, not into a mess, but into a miracle you'll never forget! So learn to relax when God closes the road or suddenly slows you down. It's all about His love for you, a love that knows what's best for you, a love that knows what's going to happen if you keep going the same direction at the same speed. So don't sit there, pounding the steering wheel and fuming. You aren't late. In fact, you're right on time - God's time. And this isn't Plan B. This is what God's Plan A has been all the time. So trust the One who plans the trip and who protects those who belong to Him. If you could see what's up ahead, you'd be so grateful that God has made you wait.

Still your hearts and minds, my children. Be still and listen to My voice, for many are troubled and frustrated amongst you. Do not lean unto your own understanding, but fully surrender all things to Me. I am in control, and I am fully able to guide you and to provide for you. Stay in your positions before Me.

Do not allow the pressures, the cares, the needs, or the news to draw your attention away from Me. It is at this time, that you must remain at My side and hear Me. Close out those things that war for your attention, and place a guard over your hearts and minds. Be diligent to take hold of your place, and do not yield to the tactics of the flesh, the enemy, or the world. You must stand.

Come away from the busyness, and the chatter, and focus. For I am calling Mine to sit with Me, and to draw deeply at this time. You must come deeper and drink of Me. Partake of all that you need and desire, for it will be your strength in the days ahead. You are responsible for your daily portion. If you will come to Me, then I will meet with you. I will not force you to come, nor will I give to those who do not seek Me.

Take your eyes off the external events and place them upon the eternal. See what I see, and learn what I want to show you. You have need of wisdom, but it will not come to you through others, but from My Hand. Take all that I have, for it is yours. My Word is your bread and meat, and My Holy Spirit will teach you, and bring illumination of My Word to you. It will sustain you and guide you. Stop trusting in men and methods and place them fully in Me. Either you trust Me or you don't. Stop running and rest.

Either you find your place beside Me, and receive what I have for you, or you will fall away as the rest will that reject Me. All men have a choice, and all men will make it. Enter in, and sit with Me, and allow Me to feed you, and give you what you need, or go your way and feed from the table of the world. It's your choice.

Spend time with Me. Enter in. Hear Me. Come to Me.

There are over six billion people living on our planet. Of that six Billion, almost two billion are Muslims. That's roughly a third of the total population of the earth.

The earthquake that triggered the killer tsunami was centered just off the Coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim country. It was also the most severely devastated by the wave. Nearly 100,000 of the victims of the December 26 catastrophe were Indonesian Muslims. The vast majority of the victims were either Muslims, Buddhists or Hindu. Got all that? Good.

Now, to the United Nations. The United Nations consists of 186 countries. The most powerful voting bloc is the fifty-seven Islamic countries that generally vote with one voice, especially when the United States or Israel are voting the other way.

The United Nations' head of humanitarian relief, Jan Egeland, criticized the West for being stingy. He didn't specifically mention America, but he cited the exact percentage of the U.S. GDP that is budgeted for foreign aid, so there is little doubt of who the 'stingy West' was, at least in Egeland's mind. Egeland slammed the United States for not raising taxes so that America could give a greater percentage of its GDP to the UN to distribute as part of the UN's foreign aid package.

Editorials in the Washington Post, the New York Times and other liberal newspapers echoed Egeland's charge, with the New York Times calling America's $350 million in direct government aid 'miserly'. The United States makes up some six percent of the world's total population, but we pay a quarter of the United Nation's total budget. The United States pays forty percent of the world's total disaster relief aid, and sixty percent of the world's total food donations.

The $2.4 billion (that's BILLION) dollars Washington spent in emergency aid in 2003 represented 40 percent of the total amount of emergency assistance from all bilateral donors provided that year. Evidently, that isn't enough. It didn't take long for these same liberal elitists to turn Mother Nature into an American right-wing hater of Islam. Not only had America's imperialistic self-enrichment policies created the natural disaster, but also cold-hearted Muslim-hating President Bush wouldn't leave his ranch in Texas...which by the way, is his home--not a vacation destination--and only offered a 'stingy' initial monetary donation.

While these elitist journalist were assailing President Bush and expounding the mantra that America should be giving more money to the devastated region in a token gesture that would 'show Islam that America didn't hate Muslims', UN Secretary General Kofi Annan was still on his vacation skiing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He returned to New York four days later.

The wave struck on Sunday, and it took only until Monday before the U.S. announced its $350 million in initial aid, sent the USS Abraham Lincoln into the region, including helicopters, and C-130 transport planes, sent hundreds of tons of pre-packaged emergency aid supplies, and deployed some 14,000 American troops to help with the recovery and cleanup. In Indonesia, U.S. helicopters flew at least 30 sorties, delivering 60,000 pounds of water and supplies, from the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln along a 120-mile stretch of Sumatra island's ravaged coastline.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, the richest nations in the Islamic world, donated a paltry $10 million each. The United Arab Emirates donated some $20 million to relieve the suffering of their Islamic 'brothers'. Egypt's contribution so far is $104,000.00. (Egypt gets $2 BILLION in U.S. foreign aid annually).

Assessment: Did anybody notice that the majority of the private donations came from those evil corporate types the left so loves to loathe? Pfizer donated $10 million in cash and $25 million in drugs. (That is more than oil-rich Saudi Arabia and Kuwait combined). General Motors pledged $2 million in cash, agreed to match employee donations dollar for dollar, and is sending vehicles to transport food and medical supplies to the region. Other corporate donors include Nike Inc., American Express, General Electric, First Data Corp., Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Exxon-Mobil, Citigroup, Marriott International and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

On the other hand, where are all the Hollywood liberals? Activist actors such as Ben Affleck, Susan Sarandon, Al Franken, P. Diddy, and Barbra Streisand have not been heard from. Where is George Soros, the world's richest left wing liberal? Actress Sandra Bullock donated one million dollars, but Bullock is neither an activist nor a liberal. (She also donated one million following September 11). Super-rich liberals like Bono and Bruce Springsteen are promising to hold another 'aid concert' to collect money (not theirs) for the victims.

America, as noted at the outset, represents six percent of the global population. But in any catastrophe, it gets one hundred percent of the blame. The UN's nose is out of joint because the Bush administration refuses to funnel its aid through the UN's various aid agencies. Kofi Annan wants to use the catastrophe to shore up the UN's sagging image in the wake of the Oil-For-Food thefts from Iraq.

The United States wants to ensure the aid doesn't end up lining the pockets of UN officials. So the U.S. is 'too stingy' and gets another black eye. Where is the rest of the Islamic world? There are fifty-seven Islamic nations, and the world's biggest Islamic nation is the one that took the hardest hit. But it is the United States--the world's largest donor nation--that is grabbing all the headlines for being 'stingy'.

To put things in perspective, I saw a news photo yesterday of one of the Indonesian victims. He was wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the face of Osama bin Laden

Julie called yesterday specifically asking that I contact you to ask for continued prayer. Specifically against all the evil forces that have come against her, her husband and her parents. He mom commented to me that the evil in the courtroom was incredibly strong during the last trial. As Julie begins to face another trail, there is so much to pray about but specifically for truth, justice and strength. Also wisdom and skill for her Defense team. The world is in such bad shape, and the lukewarm Laodecean church is not doing enough to help. So in His mercy the Lord is going to personally come again to bring healing and deliverance to those who will receive it.

He said the Tribulation is a time of mercy. God does not need the Tribulation for punishment because He already has hell to do that. It will be a severe wake-up time and opportunity after the rapture for people to call upon the Lord and be saved for eternity. As Ron spoke, all of a sudden it dawned on me: The man had been an invalid for 38 years! And counting 38 years from the most prophetic and milestone event since the first century, when the Jews took over Jerusalem and the Temple Mount in 1967 = 2005. When I said that, Ron was ecstatic! He sensed that the number 38 here is significant.

Prince Felix Schwartenberg of Austria was asked in 1848 how his country would respond to Russia's help putting down a Hungarian insurrection. "Austria," he replied, "will astound the world with the magnitude of her ingratitude."

Well stand aside, Prince, because Indonesia can now assume first place in the pantheon of ingrates. The world's most populous Muslim nation, horribly battered by the tsunami, announced that it wished to see American and other foreign troops who are providing disaster relief out by March 31. "The sooner the better," said Vice President Yusuf Kalla. The U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln was reportedly asked to withdraw from Indonesian territorial waters off Banda Aceh due to Indonesian "sensitivity" about U.S. training flights.

Our diplomats are doing what they always do, attempting to portray a knife in the back as a friendly pat. Thus U.S.Ambassador to Indonesia B. Lynn Pascoe was quick to assure the world that the deadline was just dandy. "We don't intend to be there a minute afterward. ... As I understand, the vice president was referring to a plan they have internally for the length of time it is going to take them to be set up and have transportation sufficient that they will not need helicopters. That's a perfectly reasonable position to me."

Really? It makes many Americans want to spit. Should we be leaning over backward to assure Indonesia that we won't overstay our welcome -- enduring heat, accidents, disease, expense and other hardships in order to help her people?

Here's an alternate theory: The Indonesian government's hatred for the United States overpowers even the most dire needs of its suffering people. That is a mighty hatred. Even Turkey gratefully accepted aid from Greece when the former suffered an earthquake in 1999.

Certainly the Indonesian government does not speak for everyone in the country. Many Indonesians have expressed their thanks to the United States and the rest of the world. But neither is it deniable that Islamic extremists have poisoned many minds in the Muslim world. As Paul Marshall reported in The Weekly Standard, a "prominent Islamist Website Jihad Unspun maintains the tsunami struck Thailand for supporting 'the Christian crusaders in the war on terror.'" The other nations on the Indian Ocean that suffered death and destruction were similarly deserving -- India for its "polytheism" and Sri Lanka forsupposedly "giving its full backing to the Christian Crusaders inside the White House."

In Egypt, as the Middle East Media Research Institute reports, an editorial in the government weekly Akhbar Al-Yawn noted that the Arab Doctors Association is aiding jihad warriors in Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq and Bosnia, but it declined to assist tsunami victims because the disaster is seen as "punishment from Allah." It does not apparently pause to consider that Banda Aceh, the hardest-hit province in the hardest-hit nation, is the most Islamist.

These countries, in which these things occurred -- don't they refrain from adopting Allah's law, which is a form of heresy? Whoever does not act according to Allah's law is a heretic, that's what Allah said in the Koran. Don't these countries have witchcraft, sorcery, deceitfulness and abomination?

We ask God for forgiveness. When oppression and corruption increase, the law of equilibrium applies. I can see in your eyes that you are wondering what the 'universal law of equilibrium' is. This law is a divine law. If people are remiss in implementing God's law and in being zealous and vengeful for His sake, Allah sets his soldiers in action to take revenge. It would be reassuring to hear from the Muslim faithful that those who urge "vengefulness" on God's behalf and who shrug off the greatest natural disaster in years as Allah's punishment are themselves heretics. But such reassurance is hard to find.

AMBER ALERT/10 YEAR OLD KAYLYN/INDIANA

CROTHERSVILLE, Ind. — An Amber Alert (search) has been issued in Indiana for a 10-year-old girl who police say was likely abducted from her school on Tuesday afternoon.

Kaylyn Collman — white, 4-foot-6 and 120 pounds — was last seen wearing a red short-sleeve shirt, black stretch pants with white stripes, and a medium light blue winter jacket.

She was likely abducted at Crothersville Community School (search), about 40 miles north of Louisville, Ky. Police said she is believed to be in extreme danger.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet, very skinny, 18 to 20 years old, with short dark hair and a fair complexion.

He was driving a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, late '80s or early '90s, which was last seen in the Crothersville area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crothersville Police Department at 1-888-58AMBER (888-582-6237), or dial 911.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Prosecutors in the retrial of Julie Rea Harper, the Southern Illinois woman accused of murdering her young son in his bed seven years ago, do not want jurors to know that a convicted serial killer with St. Louis ties has claimed responsibility.

A prosecutor said last week that the state will try to keep that information out of the trial, on grounds that it's unreliable hearsay. The defense argued in a written motion last week that such an exclusion would be "a gross miscarriage of justice."

Harper was convicted in 2002 of murdering her 10-year-old son, Joel Kirkpatrick, after a jury refused to believe her story of a masked intruder in their Lawrenceville, Ill., home who stabbed Joel and struggled with Harper before fleeing.

Later, Tommy Lynn Sells, a Texas death row inmate whose other alleged victims had included several children in Southern Illinois and Missouri, made statements to an interviewer indicating he had broken into the house and killed Joel that night.

Harper has been granted a second trial on an unrelated technicality. Her attorneys want Sells' statements shown to the second jury.

"Tommy Lynn Sells is more than the answer to a rhetorical question. He has confessed, on numerous occasions to different persons, that he murdered Joel," Harper's attorneys (from IU's Innocence Project and NWU's Center on Wrongful Convictions) argued in a lengthy motion filed Friday in Lawrence County.

Today, during an afternoon conference that wrapped up my project of the last 18 months, one of my Euro collegues tossed this little turd out to no one in particular:

" See, this is why George Bush is so dumb, theres a disaster in the world and he sends an Aircraft Carrier..."

After which he and many of my Euro collegues laughed out loud.

and then they looked at me. I wasn't laughing, and neither was my Hindi friend sitting next to me, who has lost family in the disaster.

I'm afraid I was "unprofessional", I let it loose -

"Hmmm, let's see, what would be the ideal ship to send to a disaster, now what kind of ship would we want?

Something with its own inexhuastible power supply?

Something that can produce 900,000 gallons of fresh water a day from sea water?

Something with its own airfield? So that after producing the fresh water, it could help distribute it?

Something with 4 hospitals and lots of open space for emergency supplies?

Something with a global communications facility to make the coordination of disaster relief in the region easier?

Well "Franz", us peasants in America call that kind of ship an "Aircraft Carrier". We have 12 of them. How many do you have? Oh that's right, NONE. Lucky for you and the rest of the world, we are the kind of people who share. Even with people we dont like. In fact, if memory serves, once upon a time we peasants spent a ton of money and lives rescuing people who we had once tried to kill and who tried to kill us.

Do you know who those people were? that's right Franz, Europeans.

Theres is a French Aircraft carrier? where is it? Right where it belongs! In France of course! Oh why should the French Navy dirty their uniforms helping people on the other side of the globe. How Simplesse...

The day an American has to move a European out of the way to help in some part of the world it will be a great day in the world, you sniggering little ..."

The room fell silent. My hindi friend then said quietly to the Euros:

"Can you let your hatred of George Bush end for just one minute? There are people dying! And what are your countries doing? Amazon.com has helped more than France has. You all have a role to play in the world, why can't you see that? Thank God for the US Navy, they dont have to come and help, but they are. They helped you once and you should all thank God they did. They didnt have to, and no one but them would have done so. I'm ashamed of you all..."

He left the room, shaking and in tears. The frustration of being on the other side of the globe, unable to do anything to assist and faced with people who could not set aside their asininity long enough to reach out and help was too much for him to bear. I just shook my head and left. The Euros stood speechless.

Later in the breakroom, one of the laughing Euros caught me and extended his hand in an apology. I asked him where he was from, he said "a town outside of Berlin". He is a young man, in his early 20's.

I asked him if he knew of a man named Gail Halvorsen.

He said no.

I said "that's a shame" and walked away to find my Hindi friend.

US Sub accident shows earth’s crust changing fast without notice to the monitoring systems - sudden Tsunamis without warning possible?

The U.S. Navy submarine accident that killed one sailor and injured 24 others occurred when the vessel -- traveling at high speed -- hit an undersea mountain head-on, Pentagon officials said recently. The mountain was uncharted while the submarine was in the area that was supposed to be charted. There is absolutely no evidence that the submarine was attacked or collided with another naval vessel.

This story has a major untouched issue that needs to be addressed by USGS and other similar bodies under UN and other nations. While there is no reason to believe the above 9.0 Richter earthquake has anything to do with the new unknown mountain, in many parts of the world, the sources are reporting extreme changes in the earth’s crust and severe tectonic movement.
The submarine was traveling in excess of 33 knots -- about 35 mph --when its nose hit the undersea formation head-on, officials said . This again points to unknown tectonic activities that are unnoticed by our monitoring services.

Common assumption is that tectonic plates move and earth’s crust changes through earthquakes and sudden stress relief. According to some Geological experts that may not be true always. There are cases where earth’s crust has reshaped itself in a relatively silent way. In addition, according to a large number of oceanographers, our earthquake and Tsunami monitoring systems in the ocean are not capable of monitoring many of the underwater deformations and changes.

If really an under water mountain came up in recent days without any notice to the present civilization then this can be serious trouble in the coming days. First, the commercial and military vessels, ships as well as submarines are vulnerable in sailing in uncharted water. But even more dangerous, there may be some mega tectonic changes coming and we are slipping under a catastrophic time bomb.

If you look at history, there were similar signs before Atlantis was struck with massive tectonic devastation. There were underwater and on the surface deformation and movements that finally built up the quick devastating catastrophe.
Some Geologists are saying that the tectonic movements all over the world are all related. Some even bring in the theory that atmospheric extremes are always accompanied with major tectonic changes.

Dear ones...we are wondering how others in America felt yesterday, after the Inauguration...Did anyone feel as we did, that what happened in Washington, DC, didn't seem to TOUCH American's? There was very little clapping in acknowledgement of what President Bush was saying in his Freedom speech. There were grandstands not filled on the parade route, and most of the TV camera's seemed to be turned only to those dissidents coming against our President as his car moved through the streets.

We set our TV to record the parade, but when we came home from appointments, there was NO parade. All afternoon, TV seemed to return rather quickly to their regular programing! In our town, people were doing what they had to do, there were no flags flying, or people smiling in recognition of the day as American's, we were all sharing!

Do you think God's LINE in the sand has been drawn...do you think HE IS about to say, those who have been "sat apart" or sanctified, are now "set apart" and sanctified? Those who have chosen the "dark, easy path" will remain on that path NOT having "known" God? Have men come too that point in believing the lie, receiving in themselves deceivableness of unrighteousness and are perishing...

Semi-Weekly Review of the News - January 20, 2005

When David Horowitz speaks, most everyone listens--even the Left. David grew up in America with parents who were active Communists. He went on to be one of the primary leaders of the anti-American, anti-war movement of the 1960's. He gradually saw their hypocrisy, deceit, and lawlessness and fled the movement. He went on to become the founder of conservative organizations including the excellent Web site www.frontpagemag.com. His many books exposing the Left are best-sellers. His newest is "Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left." Everything he does reveals how the Left thinks--or doesn't think. He will be one of my radio guests this weekend, and he deserves your ear.

We have witnessed the abysmal behavior of the Left this last year, but you have only seen the tip of the ice berg. Horowitz reveals how the Left in America actually favors the Islamic agenda more than the safety of America and thus they have formed this "unholy alliance." The Left has always defined itself for what it loathes and in recent history it has never loathed anyone more than George W. Bush. Thus, it will sympathize with whatever conservatives in office oppose. They make our most-generous, benevolent nation on earth into a villain.

How do they rationalize all of this? They insist that "capitalism causes Islamic fanaticism." Capitalism is evil. Socialism and Communism aren't nearly as evil. If the West, and particularly America, weren't so "evil", the Arab world wouldn't even turn to radical Islam in the first place. Hold it! They turned to it in the 7th Century when they didn't know what a political conservative was! This is one time I wish I really was making this stuff up. Once again, I must be drinking tea with the "mad hatter" in Alice's bizarre world.

Who is a part of the Leftist bastion? We have all sort of groups from the ACLU, the "People for the American Way," the Hollywood Left, the religious Left, many in the mainstream media, blatant socialistic outfits, and even those further left than that. Their "religion" is secular humanism and their god is self. Speaking of the Hollywood Left, when a Dutch film maker was killed by Islamists in Holland a few months ago for making a film about the oppression of Muslim women, did you hear the deafening "sound of silence" from Hollywood and also from the feminists of the world? Where was Michael Moore?

Some of this mind-set have taken leave of their senses and most others are just operating under "strong delusion." America is guilty in their eyes and the ideology of these individuals and organizations endanger the security of America. Even while we rise to meet the needs in South Asia (amidst scorn there as well), to those of the Left who have formed this "unholy alliance" with Islam, our flag represents repression, censorship, bigotry, and intimidation. They care less that we are rescuing the perishing, both physically and spiritually-speaking.

Can this be related to anything biblical? The Bible talks about a time when God will actually send strong delusion due to the wickedness of the times (II Thess. 2:11). I believe we are entering that era. We are in the era of II Timothy 3 where everything is skewed and self is worshipped. And we are a part of the Isaiah 5:20 generation where evil is called good and good is called evil. America, who is good but not perfect, along with our president, are the most hated targets on earth.

Thus WE must be "salt and light" in an ever-darkening world.

Did you know WE CAN ASK GOD to forgive someone else?

We want to share something that happened to us this week, that opened a new understanding of words Jesus spoke while on earth recorded in John 20:23, and Matthew 6:14, 15.

In John 20:23, Jesus said to His disciples: "Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitten unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained."

In Matthew 6:14, 15, we hear, "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Think about those words...let The Spirit of God give you discernment to SEE those words spring to life in your soul. Take them INTO your heart and may you like us become changed.

WE are commanded as God's child to forgive...not just to forgive, but to forgive others FROM our heart, Matthew 18:34, 35. OK, so this is what we have learned to do...forgive others for what they have done to us even if they don't deserve our forgiveness because GOD COMMANDS those who are His children to love God as supreme...and our neighbor as ourselves. Isn't this "The Royal Law?"

Doesn't that include forgiving those who come against us, letting The Holy Spirit guide us to become perfect as our Father IN heaven is perfect through unconditionally loving others just as God loves every person on earth, and looking through God's eyes of love, becoming like Jesus who died for the sins of the entire world and who wishes ALL would come to Him in repentence, wishing NONE will perish, but all receive eternal life? Matthew 5:43-48, John 3:16, 17.

Then we have this teaching in Luke 10:19, that a child of God has ALL power over the authority and power of the dark force...so doesn't this teaching go along with John 20, above?

Therefore...YOU and I have the word of God that tells us we CAN ASK GOD to forgive someone else...and those people we ASK GOD to forgive, HE WILL forgive just as HE HAS FORGIVEN US. And doesn't that immediately remove that person who we ASK GOD to forgive, from satan's grasp, freeing them from the bondage they have been held in just as we once were before we learned we MUST forgive in order to be forgiven?

Do you see the powerful teaching in those few words in John 20 and Matthew 6? 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 teach we are a NEW creation IN Christ Jesus...it teaches we are given the ministry of reconciliation...it teaches WE ARE Ambassadors reconciling the world to God through Christ Jesus LIVING IN us. SO add this additional gift God has given to His child...we can ASK GOD to forgive someone else...and we can be sure when we are willing to ASK GOD to forgive someone else, HE WILL, through The Holy Spirit, show us what to speak as we are asking God to release them from those sins in their flesh, by faith, believing we have the power given us through Christ Jesus living in us...just as Christ on the Cross forgave those killing Him, and Stephen as he was being stoned forgave those who were stoning him to death.

Kerri Kho shared the following today in reply to our message to her re: ASKING GOD to forgive someone else:

"Whenever I choose to forgive someone, I tell God I have forgiven them, and then I cry out with Jesus on the Cross, "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do." I ask Our Father to bless them that day, and lead them to Jesus' side if they are not all ready Christians. Then His Peace just overwhelms me with such great joy, because I know that for that one moment in time, I have followed in the footsteps of Jesus, I have done what He has asked me to do!! If it is difficult for me to forgive, I pray for the grace to forgive, and when it comes, then I pray in the same way."

Praise God...As we forgive someone and ask God to forgive them, this closes a doorway into our heart and the heart of the one we are praying for God to forgive, that prevents satan or its dark force from keeping us in bondage to its lies...it allows the Holy Spirit of God to do a work in both our heart that will bring us into God's REST where we can stay...knowing by faith through God's grace, in confident assurance, "There is THEREFORE NOW no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Romans 8:1.
